01 It started at a wedding

This isn't theory. Our founder has served as best man three times. Twice, the gift bag — the celebration's cash — was stolen before the night ended. The joy was real. The system around it was broken.

That frustration became our first mission: a way for celebration money to travel on proof, not promise. It decrypts in December. Every AceCorp system was born the same way — from a problem we lived firsthand, and a question nobody else would ask: why does it have to work this way?

EDITORIAL DESK: Let's start with the door. Visitors arrive at your homepage and the first thing they read is Marie Curie's dying words. Why?

THE FOUNDER: Because her last words were a question about verification. She was dying from the very materials she discovered, and her final thought on earth was: which isotope was it? She wanted the record to be exact. That is the entire company. If we can't verify it, it doesn't ship.

DESK: Your website is unusual. Redacted blocks that scramble when you touch them. Ventures labeled "sealed." Most startups publish pitch decks before they have a product.

FOUNDER: Most startups are selling the announcement. We're building the machine. Two reasons for the seals. The practical one: ideas are cheap to copy and expensive to build correctly, and we intend to be first. The principled one: announcing at launch — never before — is respect for the work and protection for the people waiting on it. When a file decrypts, it decrypts complete.

DESK: Mission 01 — the events venture — decrypts in December. What can you say without breaking your own protocol?

FOUNDER: This much. The hardest problem at any large gathering is trust between strangers. Money changes hands on promises — a ticket that might not scan, a vendor who might vanish. We built a way for funds to travel on proof instead of promise. That sentence is the entire public briefing. The name, the mechanism, the architecture — December.

DESK: The health mission is named, though. PROPA1 — providers and patients, one.

FOUNDER: Because the name is the thesis. Health software has always been written for one side of the room. We're writing it twice and shipping it once. A complete clinical stack for providers, a complete life stack for patients, one shared signal between them. That's what the "1" means. It decrypts fully in the first quarter.

AI is not a toy here; it's the tool that lets us skip the obsolete stages entirely — the way we skipped landlines for mobile. Where the market sees chaos, I see the largest arbitrage of this epoch. FOUNDER: Because I lived the problem. I watched administrative drag consume colleagues who entered this profession to care for people. The book is the protocol I wish had existed.
