Marie Curie's last words were a question. Not a farewell. Not a blessing. A question about the work.

She died of the work. The radium she discovered — the element whose faint glow she found beautiful — destroyed her bone marrow. She had carried it in her pocket. Her notebooks are still radioactive today, kept in lead-lined boxes. And her final question, asked by a body already poisoned, was still about the material that was killing her.

She gave everything to the discovery. She also shielded her students from it, exposing herself so they would not have to. She named polonium for a country that did not exist on any map. She served something larger than herself — and she never stopped asking.

We build consumer products that take tangled, outdated, needlessly complicated processes and rebuild them around the people who actually live inside them.

Complexity is the problem. Simplicity is our promise.
